Kafal fruit (काफ़ल)

Kafal is a mountain fruit found in the Himalayan regions. It looks somewhat like mulberry, but its size is much larger than mulberry. Kafal is a popular summer fruit because during this time it ripens from its green color to red and light black color. Also the state fruit of Uttarakhand.
