नैनीताल कहाँ है?
नैनीताल उत्तराखंड राज्य में स्थित भारत का एक प्रसिद्ध पर्यटन शहर है। यह नैनीताल जिले का मुख्यालय भी है। कुमाऊं क्षेत्र में नैनीताल जिले का विशेष महत्व है। नैनीताल देश के प्रमुख क्षेत्रों में गिना जाता है। नैनीताल सबसे अच्छा पर्यटन स्थल है। इनमें से सबसे प्रमुख नैनी झील है, जिसके बाद इस स्थान का नाम नैनीताल पड़ा। इसलिए इसे झीलों का शहर भी कहा जाता है। नैनीताल देखने लायक व बेहद खूबसूरत है।
नैनीताल में घूमने की जगह कौन सी हैं?
नैनीताल में घूमने के लिए बहुत से लोकप्रिय स्थान है, उत्तराखंड राज्य का सबसे ज्यादा लोकप्रिय स्थानों में नैनीताल का नाम सबसे पहले आता है। नैनीताल, उत्तराखंड राज्य का एक जिला भी है। नैनीताल जिले में ऐसे बहुत से स्थान है, जहाँ आप घूम सकते है और यहाँ के वातावरण का आनंद ले सकते है। परंतु आप सब से निवेदन है की यदि आप यहाँ आए तो इसे गंदा ना करे। हम आपको इस पोस्ट के माध्यम से नैनीताल की सबसे अच्छी जगह के बारे में बताएंगे पोस्ट को लास्ट तक जरूर पढे।
1 - मॉल रोड (Mall Road)
मॉल रोड को अब गोविंद बल्लभ पंत मार्ग (Road) से भी जाना जाता है। गर्मियों के महीने ( विशेषकर मई व जून का माह) पर्यटको को इस सड़क ( मॉल रोड) घूमना / टहलना बहुत ही पसंद है। यह नैनीताल का मुख्य आकर्षण का बिन्दु भी है। जब शाम के समय में पर्यटक यहाँ घूमते है उस समय पर ट्रेफिक को बंद कर दिया जाता है। नैनीताल शहर के अधिकतम होटल इसी मॉल रोड में बने हुए है। मॉल रोड, मल्लीताल और तल्लीताल मार्ग जोड़ने का मुख्य मार्ग है। झील के दूसरी तरफ बनी हुई सड़क ठंडी सड़क के नाम से जानी जाती है। इस मार्ग (Road) पर पाषाण देवी एवं अन्य मंदिर है।
2 - राजभवन (Rajbhavan)
राजभवन को गवर्नर हाउस के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, यह उत्तराखंड राज्य में स्थित दूसरा राजभवन है (पहला राजभवन देहरादून में स्थित है)। गवर्नर हाउस का निर्माण इग्लैंड के बकिंघम पैलेस की तर्ज में किया गया था, जिसमें 113 कमरे हैं।
राजभवन के परिसर में बगीचे, गोल्फ कोर्स, स्विमिंग पुल आदि उपस्थित है। अभी वर्तमान में आम जनता के घूमने के लिए यह खोल गया है।
3 - किलबरी पक्षी अभयारण्य (Kilbury bird sanctuary)
किलबरी पक्षी अभयारण्य नैनीताल से 12 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है। समुन्द्र तल से इसकी ऊँचाई 2194 मीटर है। किलबरी से हिमालय का मनमोहक दृश्य दिखाई देता है। यदि आपको पक्षियों से लगाव है तो आपके लिए यह जगह बहुत ही अच्छी है। यहाँ पक्षियों की 580 से भी ज्यादा प्रजातीय पाई जाती है। यदि आपको यहाँ विश्राम करना है तो आप फ़ॉरेस्ट बंगलो में कर सकते है।
4 - ईको केव गार्डन्स | Eco Cave Gardens
ईको केव गार्डन्स, नैनीताल के मल्लीताल में स्थित है। यह गार्डन्स अपने परस्पर चट्टान की गुफाओं के लिए प्रसिद्ध हैं। ये गुफा जानवरों की आकार में बनाए गए है। जैसे की - पैंथर गुफा, टाइगर, चमगादड़ , वानर और फ्लाइंग फॉक्स गुफा।
इन गुफाओ का उद्देश्य पर्यटकों को हिमालय वन्यजीव आवास की एक विशिष्ट झलक पेश करने के लिए किया गया था। ईको केव गार्डन्स की देखरेख नैनीताल पर्यटक विभाग करता है। यह गार्डन्स सुबह के 9:30 सोमवार से रविवार शाम के 5:30 को बंद होता है। ईको केव गार्डन्स के परिसर में घूमने के लिए वयस्क को 60 रुपये तथा बच्चों को 25 रुपये का शुल्क देना पढ़ता है।
5 - नैनीताल चिड़िया घर Zoo
नैनीताल में स्थित चिड़िया घर की समुन्द्र तल से ऊँचाई 2100 मीटर है। नैनीताल बस स्टेशन से इसकी दूरी मात्र 1 किलोमीटर है। इस चिड़िया घर में काले भालू, साइबेरियन बाघ, तेंदुए, भेड़िए, पाम सीविट बिल्लियों, रोज़ रिंग पैराकीटों, सिल्वर तीतर, पहाड़ी लोमड़ी, सांबर, घोरल आदि जानवर है। यह चिड़िया घर सोमवार और राष्ट्रीय अवकाशों पर बंद रहता है।
6 - नैना पीक अथवा चाईना पीक Naina Peak & China Peak
नैना पीक की समुन्द्र तल से ऊँचाई 2611 मीटर है। नैना पीक, नैनीताल की सबसे ऊँची पर्वत चोटी है,
नैनीताल से इसकी दूरी 6 किलोमीटर है। इस चोटी से हिम से ढके हुए हिमालय का पश्चिम में बंदर पूंछ चोटी से पूर्व में नेपाल के अपि एवं नरी चोटी तक का दृश्य दिखायी देता है, और नैनीताल का ‘बर्ड आई व्यू’दिखाई देता है।
7 - स्नो व्यू प्वाइंट Snow View Point
स्नो व्यू प्वाइंट तक जाने के लिए सड़क मार्ग भी उपलब्ध है। नैनीताल से इसकी दूरी मात्र 2.5 किलोमीटर है। यहाँ घूमने के लिए यहाँ फैले हुए पहाड़ और यहाँ की घटिया है।
8 - माँ नयना देवी मंदिर Maa Naina Devi Temple
माँ नैना (नयना) देवी मंदिर नैनीताल शहर से 2 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है। मल्लीताल के नैनीझील के उत्तरी किनारे में स्थित है। यहाँ से नैनीझील का मनमोहक दृश्य दिखाई देता है।
9 - टिफ़िन टॉप Tiffin Top
टिफ़िन टॉप की नैनीताल से दूरी 4 किलोमीटर है, तथा समुन्द्र तल से इसकी ऊँचाई 2292 मीटर है। यहाँ जाने के लिए टेड़े- मेडे रास्तों से होकर गुजरना पढ़ता है।
यहाँ से ग्रामीण इलाकों का दृश्य का आनंद लिया जाता है।
10 - भीमताल झील Bhimtal Lake
नैनीताल से भीमताल की दूरी 22 किलोमीटर है। समुन्द्र तल से भीमताल की ऊँचाई 1370 मीटर है। नैनीताल की झील से भीमताल की झील बड़ी है। इस झील के बीच में एक टापू है जिसे मछली घर के नाम से जाना जाता है। झील के तट से टापू की दूरी 98 मीटर है, इसमे पर्यटक नौका द्वारा आ सकते है। टापू में स्थित मंदिर सत्रवहीं शताब्दी का बना भगवान भीमेश्वर महादेव का मंदिर है। भीमताल के समीप में ही यहाँ का बस स्टेशन और टैक्सी स्टैन्ड है। यहाँ से एक रोड नौकुचियाताल और दूसरी हल्द्वानी (काठगोदाम) को जाती है।

Where is Nainital?
Nainital is a well-known tourist city of India located in the state of Uttarakhand. It is also the headquarters of the Nainital district. Nainital district has special importance in the Kumaon region. Nainital counts in major regions of the country. Nainital is the best tourism place. The most prominent of these is the lake Naini, after which the place is named Nainital. Hence it is also called the city of lakes. Where is Nainital to be seen, it is very beautiful.
Nainital was discovered in 1841 by an English Chinese (sugar) merchant. Later, the British developed it as a place to take their rest and health benefits. Nainital is situated at an altitude of 1938 meters above sea level amidst high mountains in the shade of dense trees on three sides.
The length of the pool here is about 1358 meters and the width is about 458 meters. The depth of the pool has been estimated from 15 to 156 meters, although no one is aware of it accurately. The water of the pool is very clear and the shadow of the mountains and trees on all three sides is clearly visible. The clouds in the sky can also be seen clearly in the water of the pool. The light of houses built on the mountains of Nainital at night also illuminates the rhythm, as if thousands of bulbs are burning inside the pool.
Flocks of ducks in the pool, colorful boats, and the cool breeze flowing above offer a wonderful sight here. Pool water appears green in summer, muddy in rain, and light blue in winter.

Nainital Lake
The best lake in Uttarakhand state is Nainital Lake. It is 1,500 meters long, 510 meters wide, and 30 meters deep. Nainital is surrounded by seven hills - Eyre Paat, Dev Paat, Hydadi, China Peak, Alam, Lariya Thorn, and Lion's Blackjack.
Snow View Point
Snow-view is a popular tourist destination located at an altitude of 2270 km above sea level. It is located at a distance of 2.5 km from the city of Nainital. The best scenario from the snow view is seen in the months of October and November when the entire area is covered with snow.
Tiffin Top
Tiffin Top is also known by the name of 'Dorothy's seat. Small Switzerland' in Uttarakhand state - Chopta Situated on the Ayarpatta Peak, this place is situated at a height of 7520 feet above sea level. G B Pant High Altitude Zoo
The zoo is the best hotspot for Nainital tourism. And Best for those who are animal lovers and nature lovers. It is located at an altitude of 2100 meters above sea level. It is located only one kilometer from the Nainital bus stop. The zoo is home to various animals including Himalayan black bears such as monkeys, Siberian tigers, leopards, wolves, palm civet cats, rose ring parakeets, silver pheasants, mountain foxes, sambar, and barking deer. The zoo is closed on Mondays and all national holidays.
Naina Peak
Naina Peak Nainital is the highest mountain peak in the city, situated at an altitude of 2611 meters above sea level. Its distance is 6 kilometers from Nainital city. From Nainital city, one can go on trekking or horse walking to Nainapeak.
Nainital Ropeway
Nainital Ropeway is a famous tourist destination in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand state which is under the jurisdiction of Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam (KMVN). It is the first cable car (aerial ropeway) installed in India. It covers a distance of 705 meters, at an altitude of 300 meters. It connects the ropeway snow view with the city of Nainital.
