Chandrashila Peak
Chandrashila is the Peak point of village Tungnath in Rudra Prayag District of Uttarakhand state. Chandrashila is also known as "Moon Rock" meaning Moonrock. Chandrashila is also mainly known as the summit of five peaks known as Nandadevi, Trishul, Kedar, Bandarpancha, and Chaukhamba. How can I reach Chandrashila Peak?
Take the bus to Ukhimath from Rishikesh that will follow the route via Devprayag-Srinagar-Rudraprayag-Ukhimath or via Rudraprayag-Karnprayag- Chamoli-Gopeshwar. It will take roughly 8-10 hours to reach Ukhimath or Gopeshwar, from where you can hire a taxi to Chopta.
