Kaladhungi (कालाढूंगी)
Kaladhungi is a city located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand state. The city is situated at the intersection of Haldwani-Ramnagar and Bajpur-Nainital roads, 24 kilometers from Haldwani, 30 kilometers from Nainital, and 19 kilometers from Bajpur. Kaladhungi is also one of the 6 tehsils of the Nainital district. Kaladhungi was also the winter residence of Jim Corbett. Now his bungalow at Kaladhungi has been converted into a museum. The famous hunter of Uttarakhand and later advocate of setting up Jim Corbett Wildlife Sanctuary. His descriptions say that Kaladhungi was a village at the end of mountain slopes. Which was a suitable place to escape the harsh winters of Nainital, as the climate here was as hot as the lowland areas.

कालाढूंगी उत्तराखंड में कहाँ है?
कालाढूंगी उत्तराखंड राज्य के नैनीताल जिले में स्थित एक शहर है। यह शहर हल्द्वानी-रामनगर और बाजपुर-नैनीताल सड़कों के चौराहे पर, हल्द्वानी से 24 किलोमीटर, नैनीताल से 30 किलोमीटर और बाजपुर से 19 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है। कालाढूंगी भी नैनीताल जिले की 6 तहसीलों में से एक है। कालाढुंगी जिम कॉर्बेट का शीतकालीन आवास भी था। अब कालाढूंगी में उनके बंगले को संग्रहालय में बदल दिया गया है। उत्तराखंड के प्रसिद्ध शिकारी और बाद में जिम कॉर्बेट वन्यजीव अभयारण्य की स्थापना की वकालत की। उनका वर्णन कहता है कि कालाढुंगी पहाड़ की ढलानों के अंत में बसा एक गाँव था। जो नैनीताल की कठोर सर्दियों से बचने के लिए एक उपयुक्त स्थान था, क्योंकि यहाँ की जलवायु तराई क्षेत्रों की तरह गर्म थी।
