The famous Sun Temple of Uttarakhand located at Almora District.
The Katarmal Sun Temple is the oldest Sun Temple in India. It is east-facing and is located in a village called Adheli Sunar in Almora district in the state of Uttarakhand. It was built in the sixth to ninth century by the then ruler of Katyuri dynasty, Katarmal.
