Best time to visit Kedarnath

Summers from April to June are the best time to visit the Kedarnath temple.

The valleys of the Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri temples, known as the Char Dham of the Garhwal Himalayas, are closed every year in October-November due to heavy snowfall and severe cold during the winter season, which will be repeated again in April-June next year.

How to go Kedarnath

If you want to take the rail route to reach Kedarnath, then the Kathgodam railway station is the nearest railway station. From here, after taking taxis, you will reach Kedarnath Dham. After this, you will get the means to go to Kedarnath from here.
