Sattal is located in the Nainital District of Uttarakhand.
Sat Tal means “seven lakes”. The place is called Sattal because it used to be an interconnected group of seven freshwater lakes. The lake is situated near Bhimtal, a town of the Nainital district in Uttarakhand, India. How to Reach Sattal?
You can only reach Sattal by road. It is about 22 km from Haldwani and 43 km from Nainital. You can easily ride by bike or can hire a taxi to Sattal lake.
